My first collaboration with Toronto Journal: 7 illustrations for Issue 6, Summer 2025, one for each short story. The journal found my personal artwork and invited me to contribute. They provided editorial guides to help me understand each story and its themes, while leaving the visual interpretation entirely to me.

Each illustration had to work twice: pull a reader into a story they hadn't read yet, and reveal something new once they had. I drew each one from a separate concept, using the same black-and-white pen style from my personal practice.
